DAY 1: LIMA | Welcome to Peru!
Lima Capital of Peru, Coast Verde

Welcome to Peru!

Your adventure begins when you get picked up at the airport by a local representative that will welcome you and accompany you to your hotel. Your hotel is located in the trendy area of Miraflores.

Welcome meeting at 14:00.

After the meeting head out for a orientation walk of the area led by your knowledgeable tour leader. In the evening optional group dinner.

You will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel to start your adventure.
Welcome Meeting
Your opportunity to meet your guide and fellow travellers, and learn more about your tour.

DAY 2: LIMA | A Taste of Peru
Peruvian cooking class

Lima is the Culinary Capital of South America, and your trip is not complete until you taste what the city has to offer.
Be prepared to enjoy, taste and be happy! with a hands-on experience.
The rest of the day is free to explore the area or opt for additional activities.

DAY 3: SACRED VALLEY | Land of the Incas

This morning you will take a flight to Capital of the Inca Empire: Cusco. The journey by plane is impressive as it crosses the Andes.

Upon arrival to the airport you will meet your guide and we will drive directly to the Sacred Valley, crossing beautiful rural areas and enjoying amazing views of the valley.

You will enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.

Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

DAY 4: SACRED VALLEY | Amazing Views
Picnic in the Andes

Enjoy a full day in exploring ancient Inca sites and also stunningly beautiful mountain scenery and colourful farmland.

Then, enjoy a true hidden gem experience at Mountain View, with a delicious picnic lunch. An invitation to soak in the natural beauty of the Andes.

DAY 5: SACRED VALLEY TO CUSCO | Living Traditions

Your visit to the Sacred Valley and a local community will be filled with unique and immersive cultural experiences hosted by local families in the rural village of Cuyo Chico.

Afterwards, continue to Cusco where you will have the afternoon and evening off to relax or explore on your own.

Engage in the different demonstrations and workshops carried by the community, learn about the ancestral traditions and contemporary ways of life in the Sacred Valley. Demonstrations include an empanada tasting, a pottery workshop and participation in the production of mud bricks.

DAY 7: CUSCO TO AGUAS CALIENTES
Aguas Calientes

This morning you will take a combination of bus and train to arrive to Aguas Calientes.

This little charming town is the gateway to Machu Picchu and it is well know for its hot springs “Aguas Calientes”. The town is located in the middle of the cloud forest and the weather is warm and humid with lots of trees.

After checking in at the hotel and lunch you have the rest of the afternoon to explore, there are many things to do.

Here are some suggestions:
* Visit the Hot Springs:

DAY 8: MACHU PICCHU | Discover the Wonder
Machu Picchu guided tour

This morning, embark on a guided tour of Machu Picchu—the 15th-century Inca citadel famously introduced to the world by archaeologist Hiram Bingham in the April 1913 issue of National Geographic magazine. After being taken through the temples and terraces of this awe-inspiring UNESCO World Heritage site, return to Cusco by train.

Rise early to catch the first bus up to Machu Picchu with the guide. Enjoy a guided visit of the ruins. When ready, head back down by bus to Aguas Calientes to meet up with the rest of the group and take a train back to Cusco.

Set off with the local guide to explore Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. Learn about the history and gain insights into this massive mountaintop citadel while wandering through ancient dwellings, stone temples and along sculpted terraces.

DAY 9: CUSCO | Discover Cusco
Cusco City Center

Cusco attracts thousands of travellers who are drawn to this ancient city which has a lot to offer. It is the perfect base for optional explorations around the city, you can choose to keep it low key and dive into the local markets and grab a cup of coffee in a cozy cafe, or go all out for a range of outdoor activities including: hiking, ATVs, etc.

Explore the ancient city of Cusco on foot with your tour guide, visit the local market, the Main Square and other important landmarks to take the perfect pictures.
