DAY 1: CAPE TOWN | Welcome to the Mother City

Welcome to South Africa!
Cape Town is known as the “Mother City” – with a rich history and much to see and explore. Check in to your hotel, explore the V&A Waterfront with great views, restaurants and things to do.
Meet your fellow travellers at the welcome meeting this evening and go out for an included dinner, a warm African welcome.
It will be as early or late a night as you want it to be, but be warned as we have an early start – the Cape is calling.
DAY 2: CAPE TOWN | Cape Peninsula and Penguins

Smell the fresh coffee and fill up before we head off into a day filled with promise.
Hop into your touring vehicle as you head off to explore the Cape Peninsula. Drive along Chapman’s Peak, considered one of the world’s top scenic coastal drives, with the Atlantic Ocean on one side. Many beautiful stops await you along the way, many of them with a historic tale or two. Spot your first local wildlife in Cape Point National Park and see African penguins in Boulders Beach.
Stop for lunch in Simonstown, home to the South African Navy and enjoy the scenic drive back to town.
Enjoy a free evening.
DAY 3: CAPE TOWN | Explore Table Mountain

This morning we will head to Table Mountain, we will take the Cable Car and get a bird’s eye view of Cape Town. Spend some time exploring Table Mountain on top before taking the cable car down. Then enjoy a guided tour of the historical sites of the city: Castle of Good Hope, the Company Gardens and walk around the colourful neighbourhood of Bokaap.
Enjoy a free afternoon to further explore the city, enjoy the V&A Waterfront or simply relax at the hotel.
DAY 4: !KHWA TTU SAN HERITAGE CENTRE | Meet the First People

We bid Cape Town farewell, but not before a final scenic stop at Table Bay Beach for a final snap of the iconic Table Mountain.
Heading up the rugged West Coast, we arrive at !Khwa ttu San Heritage Centre for a truly immersive experience. Here, we delve into the rich culture of South Africa’s First People, guided by personal stories and the interactive San Interpretation Centre.
As the day winds down, enjoy local cuisine while embracing the flavors and traditions of this ancient heritage.
DAY 5: FRANSCHHOEK | Wine and dine

We leave the coast heading to the historic town of Franschhoek situated in a valley that has age-old vineyards, Cape Dutch architecture and a monument honouring the French Huguenot history and influence on the valley and of course its wine.
A cellar tour & wine tasting sets the mood as we sit down at a local vineyard to enjoy lunch overlooking beautiful mountains.
Opt for another wine tasting & pairing in the afternoon or head to the hotel to relax.
The evening is yours to explore this beautiful town.
DAY 5: HAZYVIEW | Cultural Bushveld Evening

This morning depart the beautiful Franschhoek valley, board a plane to Kruger Mpumalanga airport. Transfer to Hazyview and check in at your premium lodge. After lunch, relax by the pool and take in the smells and sounds of the bushveld.
We end the day with a traditional dinner and Shangaan dancers next to the fire.
DAY 7: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK | Big 5 Safari

Rise early in the morning to experience your first safari drive of the trip in Kruger National Park. Buckle up for an exciting day!
Established in 1926, Kruger National Park is the world’s second oldest national park. Its rich history dates back to ancient times, hosting hunter-gatherers, traders, and explorers. Today, it’s renowned for its biodiversity: 150 mammal species, 500 birds, 340 trees, 115 reptiles, 50 fish, and 35 amphibians across 20,000 sq km.
Experience it firsthand on a full-day game drive, stopping for lunch at one of the park’s rest camps.
DAY 8: GREATER KRUGER | Amazing views of the Panorama Route

We have a magnificent day ahead of us, taking in the beautiful scenery as we enjoy the Panorama route, stopping at Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes where the Blyde & Treur rivers meet and finally God’s Window viewpoint.
We enjoy a lunch stop and then full-steam-ahead to our exclusive lodge in Greater Kruger.
After checking in at the lodge, there will be some free time to relax and watch the wild animals from the pool.
DAY 10: GREATER KRUGER | Sunrise and sundowners in Kruger National Park

Join us at sunrise for an early morning game drive, searching for the big five with our specialist guides. Experience the anticipation of the bush and the sight of majestic animals. After the drive, enjoy breakfast, relax or enjoy the pool.
Explore the African bush some more as we go on our early afternoon game drive in search of more animal sightings. Arrive back to the lodge and enjoy dinner or opt for a unique experience in the form of a Bush Braai.

Enjoy a traditional South Africa Braai (a meal prepared on the fire with some delicious meat and other dishes) out in the wild, unfenced under the stars of the African sky.
DAY 10: JOHANNESBURG | Explore Dullstroom on your way to Joburg

This morning you have the option to sleep in or opt for one last early morning game drive.
Bid farewell to the bush as we head to Joburg via Dullstroom for lunch. Famous for rainbow trout and fly fishing, this town is a must-stop with shops, restaurants, and an experience.
Arrive late afternoon, freshen up and head for a final group dinner to share memories and friendships.

A final chance to enjoy the wildlife & African bush.
DAY 11: JOHANNESBURG | Departure day

Our trip ends after breakfast.
Opt to explore the rich history of the area with optional activities like visiting Soweto or the hop-on-hop-off red bus. Check out is at 10:00.
This is not goodbye, but see you later.
