Day 1: Cape Town (Arrival day)
Arrival day. Arrive at any time.
Transfer from the airport to your Cape Town hotel is included.
Day 2: Cape Town
Wake up to fresh coffee before embarking on a promising day.
Day 3: Cape Town to Franschhoek
Early start as we hike up Table Mountain via the Platteklip Trail to view Cape Town from above. Spend time atop Table Mountain, then descend via cable car to head to Franschhoek.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at Babylonstoren wine farm and explore its gardens. Franschhoek: historic town with age-old vineyards, Cape Dutch architecture, and The French Huguenot monument. Enjoy free time to explore.
Day 4: Franschhoek
Today, experience the vineyards in a unique way with an e-bike tour.
Visit stunning wine farms, each with a distinct feel, stopping for lunch. Continue through mountains and vineyards, ending in town before returning to your accommodation.
Enjoy your evening exploring the town.
Day 5: Franschhoek to Hazyview
This morning, depart from beautiful Franschhoek to board our plane to Kruger Mpumalanga airport.
Transfer to Hazyview’s Premium lodge. After a delicious lunch, relax by the pool and take in the smells and sounds of the bushveld.
In the evening enjoy a traditional dinner with Shangaan dancers. Get excited for Kruger National Park by the fire.
Day 6: Kruger National Park
Rise up early in the morning to experience your first safari drive of the trip in Kruger National Park. Buckle up for an exciting day!
Established in 1926, Kruger National Park is the world’s second oldest national park. Its rich history dates back to ancient times, hosting hunter-gatherers, traders, and explorers. Today, it’s renowned for its biodiversity: 150 mammal species, 500 birds, 340 trees, 115 reptiles, 50 fish, and 35 amphibians across 20,000 sq km.
Experience it firsthand on a full-day game drive, stopping for lunch at one of the park’s rest camps.
Day 7: Greater Kruger
Enjoy the stunning scenery on the Panorama Route on our way to our next destination in the Greater Kruger area at a beautiful concession next to Kruger Park.
Then, head to our lodge in Greater Kruger. After check-in, relax before our sunset game drive. Keep your cameras ready as we search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and leopards
Day 8: Private Game Reserve in Greater Kruger
Join us at sunrise for a morning game drive, searching for the big five with our specialist guides. Experience the anticipation of the bush and the sight of majestic animals.
After the drive, snack, relax, or enjoy the pool.
In the afternoon, explore the African bush on foot for a unique experience.
Day 9: Greater Kruger to Johannesburg
Our last morning game drive, a final chance to enjoy the wildlife. Bid farewell to the bush as we head to Joburg via Dullstroom for lunch. Famous for rainbow trout and fly fishing, this town is a must-stop with shops, restaurants, and an experience.
Arrive late afternoon at our guest house, freshen up and head for a final group dinner to share memories and friendships.
Day 10: Departure day
Welcome to Joburg! Our trip ends after breakfast.
Explore the rich history with optional activities like visiting Soweto or the hop-on-hop-off red bus. Check out is at 10:00.
This is not goodbye, but see you later.
